Fees in Social Security cases
Generally, Social Security representation is performed on a contingency fee basis. The contingency fee is set by federal statute. Under this statutory contingency fee arrangement, you will pay Attorney Adriane S. Grace a fee only when she wins your case for social security benefits. The fee is paid from any past-due benefits, and by law, does not exceed 25% of those past-due benefits or $6,000, whichever is less. This fee may be adjusted by SSA at the request of either party. Any fee collected by a representative must be approved by Social Security. There may be out-of-pocket costs associated with obtaining medical evidence for your case. You will be responsible for paying those costs.
